Background info
Since 1997, when I published my first personal website I am totally hooked on web development and search engine optimization.

I’m professionally into SEO / internet marketing since 1998. At first I started optimizing my own website and websites of friends. Very soon after that I optimized the first website on commercial base. This was before the rise of Google and way back then  SEO was all about Altavista, Excite, Yahoo, Lycos and Ilse (Local Dutch search engine).

Around 2000 I dug into e-commerce development and started working for e-Bee Solutions, an internet start-up focussing on selling ecommerce projects. The company didn’t survive the internet bubble burst.

After that I started my own company providing internet services. I’ve been working on several small and medium sized company websites and webshops.

Nowadays I focus on SEO / internet marketing, ecommerce and WordPress development. I’m currently working for several companies on mid and long term base.

I embrace the open source philosophy and my favourite open source web applications are WordPress and OpenCart.
